This is a nice song by TMS-PS, very well sung by both. MGR and Saroja Devi sing the song in the movie.

Saroja Devi has mentioned about this song in one of her interviews. The whole song was picturized in a dirty pond in a village and the shooting took nearly a whole day. At the end she got severe allergies
and high fever. There was no doctor around and, MGR, who had the habit of carrying medicines, came to the rescue and gave her the appropriate anti-allergy medicines.
