The movie is about a dying old man (Ranga Rao) and his grand daughter J. Before he dies he wants to get J married to a good person who will take care of J and all the wealth. All the relatives (Manohar & Co) scheme to get J married to a fellow of their choice so that they can control matters. They bring one such bridegroom. To find out if that fellow is good, J & Nagesh go as dancers and that's when this song comes.
