This movie features Devika in dual role paired opposite Manohar and Jaishankar, under production for
too long a time, evident when you see the artistes Jai, Devika young/slim and vice versa.

Devika plays the sisters, the elder married to Manohar not a happly life and undergoes hardships.

In one of the interviews Jai had stated that he used to pass by Devika's abode in his college days and now he pairs with her. Incidentally this was the only movie they paired. The other movie they acted together was "Anbu Sagotharargal". Devika was the first choice to act in "Kuzhandaiyum Deivamum" opp Jai.
