Kuzhanthaikkaaga-1968 starred Padmini with Major Sundararajan,
SV Ramdas and RS Manohar. The story is about three criminals who
kidnap a small girl, and are reformed by the good nature of the
child. Padmini played the governess of the child. Padmini sings
this song to the child. There is a sad version of the song too.
