The movie is a very good suspense thriller made by
S Balachander. Obviously, he also composed the music. In the movie
the song is sung by Sowcar Janaki twice. This version of the song
is the second version.... the one that comes right at the end where,
as SJ plays the piano and sings the song alone in a large hall,
under the request of the sick old man Major Sundararajan, who is
listening to the song from his bedroom, and the murderer is lurking
behind with a knife to kill SJ!
It is a very well-made, nail-biting scene! (kadaisiyil
