I just watched the show on MAA TV and it is my humble attempt
to capture PS's facilitation on 10th November by MAA TV - the
programme titled "75 Vasanthala Gana Kokila".

PBS says - She has a distinct style in music world and she has
a special place in music world. It can't be imitated. Her voice
god's gift. She is an internatioanl Singer. I had the fortune
of singing duets with her in multiple languages.
Now Mano says - "her pronounciation is crystal clear and
said that when you go to villages you can hear her voice clearly
in trasistor. She takes care of lot of care in her pronounication
by singing very openly and it is a lesson to all the present-day
singers. I diddn't reaize in those days why she takes so much
care in singing so openly and but realize it now."

Mano said - PS is a contract singer for AVM, CHalapati, TVS instisutions
and requests V B Rajendra Prasad and T V S Raju to say few words:
V B - PS never says lies - but i think today she is lying by
saying that she is 75 years old. She is what she was 25 years
back.. She looks the same and sings the same. She should have
long life and bless all of us.
TVS Raju - i entered in the same year as PS. She is a great singer
and also great actress :). And wishes her long life...
Now Mano adds by saying " PS is a great actress that she
shows all the emotions in her voice". Very Apt again.
Now Kousalya sings:

After finishing singing - she asks PS to forgive her if there
are any mistakes in her rendering. She said she never had stage
fear - but for the first time she feels tense singing PS's songs
that too in front of PS. She once again asks for forgiveness for
any mistakes and wishes PS happy birthday.
Suma asks M S Reddy for his Spandana; ( M S Reddy is known as
Sahaja Kavi)
M S Reddy - She is a singer India can be proud of. He thanks MAA
TV for arranging Swararchana to PS. She is known as gana kokila.
This is only half-truth. Kokila sings only in spring...However,
PS's voice is like Veena. She sings in all times. He blesses her
by reciting a poem on PS and wishes her long life.

Ramakrishna sings a poem expressing wish to be born again in
PS's family and to be born as a singer.
Bhuvana Chandra - my mom, sisters and their kids and their kids
are singing your songs. You are amma to amma... Today i could
feel Vishwa Roopa of PS - PS in centre - all musicians one side
and singers in another side. It is our fortune to have her in
our midst. I salute her with folded songs. He wishes PS long life
and says Satamanam Bhavati...

to herself: "PS is kuhoo kokila... I agree your PS is great..
hu.... She is from Vijayanagaram ... I agree I can sing only some
times and PS can sing all times. Why do you people need me"
(this was really good.. i am not able to translate...) He also
reveals Naushad said Masha Allah after listening to PS. Finally,
he touches PS's feet.
ANR - Everyday morning, I always listen to Kokila on mango tree
at my house and lively Kokila (PS) through radio. I acted with
80-85 heroines in 70 year career. She sang for 75 heroines.. I
can't see all the 75 heroines and i see all of them in PS. My
wishes to you. He wishes her healthy life.
Ramanaidu - Happy Birthday to PS. She sang in almost all my films
in Telugu... It is good to facilitate PS and it is also good to
know that she gives financial aid to many artists through her
trust. He wishes happy birthday to PS.
K Viswanath - myself and PS started career at the same time.
I remember all the good old days in this function...She sang in
almost all my movies after i started directing movies. He wishes
happy birthday to PS.
Now Chiru's wife Surekha present a gift. She touches PS's feet.
They also give Patty Saree to PS.
Chiru - "Normally my wife doesn't come any function and
if I don't go, she won't go that function. but today my wife said
she would go w/o me too... I thought I may not join.. My wife
kept calling me so many times saying you would miss a lot if you
don't come to this function. I finally i join here not wanting
to miss a function to faciltate PS, who is one of the greatest
singers in India... I gave pattu cheera to her. Recently, My wife
asked me to give PS's songs as gift to her 10-15 days back.. I
don't know where i will get all the songs.. But, Santa Bio Tech
Vara Prasad called me for lunch and I know he has PS's good collection.
I asked him whether he can share those songs and he readily agreed...I
am happy to be here in this function. " He wishes long, healthy
life to PS.
Nagarjuna - firstly, many happy returns of the day to PS. I have
been listening to her voice since my childhood. I have grown up
listening to her songs.. I always to get angry why other female
singer's voice is not like PS. Whenver someone congratulates heroines
saying your songs are good, I always wonder why heroins are being
congratulated instead of PS? I remember all these things today.
Happy B'day to her.
Ramakrishna - MAA TV representative - we have always given importance
to celebrating telugu culture and values. PS facilitation is one
among those things in the direction of preserving and valuing
telugu culture.. We would like to facilitate all the great artists..Happy
Birthday to PS and wish her good health...

PS - She starts her speech by saluting Sai Baba, parents and
her husband. My blessings to all the people who sang my songs.
It is my fortune to share dias with someone like ANR. Like him,
i started trust to recognize and faciliate great artists. Last
year, Smt SJ has been given the PS award and this year, SPB is
chosen for this award and the function is going to be held in
Chennai on 14th. She also said money raised in this function will
go to donation towards flood victims. I feel humbled to have been
part of music family. (She calls everyone in her family and asks
the audience to bless them too). Everyone encouraged me, trained
me to sing great songs. This is a never-fogettable function is
my life. She sings "Ganamu chesedanu...", "Ee siru
lenduku..." Sandhya joins... Sunitha, B Vasantha, Swapna,
Kousalya join while PS is singing...
Sandhya says: In 75 - 7 stands for 7 swaras; 5 is her actual
age. PS is innocent at her heart says Sandhya.
Jamuna Rani - We used to sing in 3 shifts.. Herself, Jikki, Leela,
PS are all good friends.. I remember all the old days.Happy B'day
to PS.
B Vasantha - Happy birthday to PS. I sang lot of songs in Telugu,
Tamil languages. Honey + Sugar + Sugarcane Juice+Vennela etc is
Amrutam and PS is Amrutam. She sings Chandama Rave, Amma... PS
will always have a place for myself in her heart. I was carrying
when i was singing a duet with her in the film Jeevana Jyoti..
PS used to bless me by saying you would get a good kid.. True
to her words, my son has reached great heights in life - studied
and settled abroad. Vasantha says this is all due to PS's blessings.
PS jokingly says - there will be a big queue for her blessings
from whoever is expecting a kid.
LRE - She is my akka. It is good to see all the fans came and
blessed.. She should have long ad happy healthy life.. She sings
Wish you many happy returns of the day, Happy Birthday to you....

I am not sure whether any other singer will get so much adulation.
I feel this is for all other singers and goes on to sing "Amma
annadi oka kammani mata..." he sings Susheelamma wherever
Amma comes - which was very apt.
